Who We Are
Rooted in Indonesia.
Roasted Globally.
Women-led.
Salt of the Earth Coffee was born to amplify Indonesia’s diverse coffee heritage while reshaping what leadership in this industry looks like. From the women farmers to the women entrepreneurs shaping the global market, our work celebrates and supports their contributions.
Indonesia offers one of the widest ranges of coffee profiles in the world — from Sumatra’s bold Gayo beans to Java’s rich heritage and Sulawesi’s unique terroirs. Our journey begins in Australia but our vision extends globally: connecting roasters everywhere to coffees that carry not just flavour, but purpose.
Partnering with Salt of the Earth means partnering with a women-led movement to build a more inclusive and impactful coffee industry.
Where Our Story Begins
"After spending six years in Sydney, I fell in love with Australia’s vibrant coffee culture. However, while Australians celebrate some of the best coffee in the world, I noticed that Indonesian coffee often goes underappreciated.
As a woman entering a male-dominated industry, I wanted to be the bridge between Indonesian farming communities and roasters abroad, with a focus on transparency, sustainability, and impact.
My vision is to share the richness of Indonesian coffee while empowering the farmers (especially women) — who make it possible."
